You Don’t Have A Choice; Consume 100 Grams Of Protein Post-Workout; And On The Spot Mobility

You have to do it. Whatever it is. Because you said you would. Because you have goals. And most importantly, because you can.

You’re struggling right now because you have a choice.

And I get it; philosophically — or is it spiritually? — we always have a choice no matter what mental shenanigans we try (unless you’re anti-free will).

But disregard that perilous conversation for a moment and imagine yourself six months from now with no other options. You MUST do all the things to reach your goals. For whatever reason, you’re compelled to cultivate every good habit, employ only valuable behaviors, and take all the proper steps. In this muti-verse, there is no other choice.

There is NO CHOICE.

You can whine and bitch, argue, complain, and throw all the fits you like.

You can stay up late and sleep in, have 27 kids, a condescending boss, an unsupportive spouse, and about as much energy as a candle.

So what. You don’t have a choice, remember?

You have to head out to that cold garage. Even if it’s dark. Even if you don’t want to.

You have to cook. Even if it’s Sunday. Even if you’d like to watch Rebel Moon for the seventh time.

You have to do it. Whatever it is. Because you said you would. Because you have goals. And most importantly, because you can.

Now go. Act as if you don’t have a choice. Because who would you be if success was the only option?

Consume 100 Grams of Protein Post Workout

This study looked at a post-workout protein intake of 100 grams, and the results were stellar.

“We show that the ingestion of 100 g protein results in a greater and more prolonged (>12 h) anabolic response when compared to the ingestion of 25 g protein.”

So, if you need help eating ONE gram or protein/pound of body weight, try ratcheting up the post-workout protein intake.

On The Spot Mobility

All too often, we save mobility for after the workout. Or rush through it before the intensity begins.

But what if we tried to hit a few pieces of tight tissue during the workout? Watch the clip above and give it a go.
