When Obstacles Occur: Tissue Therapy Trifecta: And A Gut Check

Look closely. Peer beyond the superficial. Skip the justification.

Obstacles occur at the transition. The bridge between who we are, and who we could be.

It’s a test. Pass and decide to persist, and your reward is going further and getting stronger.

Or fail and relent, destined to remain on the shore, staring forever at what could have been.

Progress is odd that way. A baptism by fire. It’s there for the taking, but the taking costs comfort.

Sometimes, that means a knee tweak or shoulder-itis. Something that pops up when everything is perfect.

Obstacles don’t have to be injury, however. They often aren’t.

Careers call, providing a worthy excuse. But instead of boundaries, airtight barricades that provide the sort of space we so desperately need, we justify.

Rationalization is the bane of the intelligent. The brighter we are, the better we are at convincing
