What Next?

What you should do when the challenge ends.

Instead of heading for the donuts when the challenge ends or diving head first into a mountain of gooey cheesecake, take a minute.

Set the kettle, grind the beans. Or steep the tea or lemon the water or do whatever it is you do.

Then grab a notebook and get real quiet. Ask yourself, “what did I learn?”

Get curious.

How are you different? What beliefs no longer line up with who you want to be? What behaviors do you keep, amputate, or improve?

Be still. Let the answers come. Don’t force it.

What are you saying?

Today, are you the kind of person who can have a slice and get right back on the horse? Or is tomato sauce on bread the furthest thing from your mind, and best to keep it that way?

Nobody, including me, knows exactly what’s going to work now. And what worked for you yesterday won’t work today.

I can help. So can others. But to truly know the best path once the challenge ends, you must know yourself.

Not who you were yesterday, but who you are today.

Who are you?
