Tootsie Pops; Weekly Mobility Progress Check; And The Rule Of Thirds
What if you already had all the potential you needed?
People are potential.
Unexpressed, endless, and right there for the taking — potential.
In fact, what if the resistance, guilt, and shame we feel when we fail and fall short is nothing more than the disappointment of our best selves yearning to come out?
That would mean everything great about us is already inside somewhere. And life isn’t about gaining anything but, rather, uncomfortably peeling back the layers through suffering, sacrifice, and discipline.
“We do not learn,” Plato said, “what we call learning is only a process of recollection.”
So basically, people are Tootsie Pops. Gooey awesomeness trapt in a hard shell.
“How many licks,” The Owl said, “does it take to get to the center?”
No one knows, and it doesn’t really matter.
