This Is The Secret To Getting Results In The Gym For The Rest Of Your Life
Think of it like this. The goal of a plane is to fly. But to do that, it needs a runway and a mess of other things to get it airborne.
You’ll get results in the gym if you constantly vary functional movements.
Adding intensity to that equation increases the return exponentially.
Imagine easily deadlifting a decent weight a handful of times, then hitting a few lunges, a set or two of push-ups, then heading home.
You’ll get results; they just won’t be worth much.
Now imagine working towards a bigger deadlift each day. Imagine lunging with all you have left in the tank, hitting push-ups until you break, then adding more reps the next time.
That’s intensity. That’s results.
But intensity left unchecked is dangerous. See the problem?
