I love a good analogy as much as the next guy. Or is it a metaphor?

Whichever.

We’re skipping that today and going straight for the juggler: The body needs maintenance. Craves it, in fact, and will force it upon you in one of two ways.

Active.

There’s a chance you’re living your best life. Or you’re a bit run down. Or dealing with a tweak, or you’re hurt or injured. Think of these as phases that we all go through. Common and somewhat unavoidable chapters that life delivers no matter what we do.

The link between each phase is effort. That’s fitness, nutrition, stretching, standing, sleeping, and all the little things.

The kind of effort that keeps you feeling your best makes you feel even better or heals those nagging issues that are simply the cost of being awesome.
