There’s a subset of Gamers called completionists.

As the name implies, completionists fulfill every mission, win every trophy, solve every riddle, and check every box a game offers.

To me, completionism is a philosophy, a way to look at the big picture of life and run it through another philosophical modus operandi: how you do anything is how you do everything.

First, a completionist must ensure they actually have enough time to complete the task. It’s no use starting a 70-hour game when you only have 30 hours to give.

Second, a completionist must be discerning. They can’t just pick any old off-the-shelf FPS or RPG. They have to choose something valuable, something they really want to complete.
