Start Here: Minimum Effective Dose

Get your desired results without overspending your ability or adding unhelpful actions to the mix.

First, decide what it is you want. You’d be surprised how many people skip this step.

Let’s say you want to drop ten pounds by your next birthday, several months away. Great.

Now, develop a single habit that may or may not get you there. Something small. Something so simple you can’t help but succeed.

That doesn’t mean giving up all sugar for the rest of your life, running two marathons a day, or sleeping in a sauna.

It means skipping movie popcorn and seeing what happens. Or buying extra lean ground beef. Perhaps walking 100 steps after each meal.

Then, after a few weeks, take inventory.

Are you happy with your progress? If yes, keep doing what you’re doing. If not, develop another habit, equally as simple as the first. Nothing major. Nothing life-changing. Nothing you can’t handle.
