Practice Being The Fool

We greet each day with preconceived notions of who we are. Of a past that has tricked us into believing we’re weak, slow, uncoordinated, and void of discipline.

In the land of the expert, the fool is king.

That’s why Socrates said, “all I know is that I know nothing.”

And why, centuries later, Tyler Durden said, “we just had a near-life experience.”

Because to them, living meant learning. About the world. About others. And particularly about oneself.

But today we’re afraid to look silly. Terrified to admit we don’t know. And therefore unable to advance.

Especially when it comes to our health.

We greet each day with preconceived notions of who we are. Of a past that has tricked us into believing we’re weak, slow, uncoordinated, and void of discipline.

So at best, we stay where we there, maybe training sporadically. Maybe quitting altogether. And all because…
