Open Your Mind

Our menu is evolving. Or at least the way we approach it is. And if we want to feel our best, we have to as well.

A new diet hits the media every six days.

That’s a lie. But it’s a believable one, right?

While I don’t actually know how often we’re bombarded with a fresh nutritional approach, I feel like it’s all the time.

And it’s confusing.

But it’s also refreshing. It’s not enough that something works; we demand it to be the best it can be. Including us. Including our food.

The challenge is nailing the nutritional approach that works best for you. One that might, or might not, work for me. And it’s simpler than you might think.

First, ask yourself, am I thriving? If the answer is yes, keep doing what you’re doing.

If it’s no, it’s time to open your mind.

What healthy principles did you learn eons ago that you’re unwilling to give up?

What’s something you do simply because you’ve always done it that way?

What do you believe works, rather than know it works.

You get the idea.

Our menu is evolving. Or at least the way we approach it is. And if we want to feel our best, we have to as well.

What can you open your mind to this week? A new food? A new approach? A new life?
