Meal Planning Made Easy Part 1
There are multiple ways to fight the abundance of easy, addictive calories, and it starts with planning what to eat before you eat it.
Eating healthy should be easy.
Like a calm hike along your favorite trail or quality time in your favorite book, we should enjoy eating to feel our best, gravitate to it, and easily repeat it.
But we don’t. Because eating healthy is hard.
For starters, most of us are busy. We need calories, and we need them fast. And far be it from food manufacturers to deny the world at large fast, easy, and often harmful solutions.
But it’s not their fault. They’re in business to make a profit. It’s the consumer’s job to demand quality. But since we don’t, we get convenience.
It doesn’t stop there, of course. And with convenience comes hyper-palatability, and about 800 calories more produced per American per day than we need.
