If We Can’t Admit The Behavior Is Bad, We Can’t Change It

Embrace the pain of failing so you can live up to your potential. Be pissed that you spent the day binge eating, day drinking, and mindlessly snacking.

There’s potential inside you struggling to get out.

You feel it every time you engage in behavior that’s beneath you. It’s called guilt, and it’s a gift.

But since it hurts, we do everything we can to avoid it. Especially when it comes to food.

The trend today is justification. To focus on everything but food, because somehow paying attention to what you eat isn’t healthy. We even label it a disorder in hopes of rationalizing bad habits and tricking ourselves into feeling better about bad decisions.

And yes, some decisions are bad.

And yes, some food is just unhealthy.

And yes, you make mistakes. Just like me. Just like everyone else.
