How Much Recovery Do I Need To Feel My Best?

So if you’re 30-years-old, and workout five days a week, you need to do 15 minutes of maintenance at least five days a week.

Maybe I’m delusional.

Maybe every year we age, things really do just fall apart. Bones crumble into dust, muscles tear into pieces, and the mind dwindles into … I don’t know — pudding.

Or not.

Perhaps we can keep our strength, speed, coordination, and intelligence. Or at least most of it.

Whatever the truth is, I choose to believe the latter. But belief isn’t enough.

That’s where Maintenance Minutes comes from. The belief and coinciding action to keep us training until our last sunset. And if we can keep training, then maybe, just maybe, none of that other stuff has to happen.

It’s taken a while — decades, I think — to detail and practice the exact recovery prescription. But as of right now, I think I have it.
