Do This For IT Band Relief

It’s not sexy. It’s not unique. It just works.

It’s easier to ignore it.

To rationalize, justify, and flat-out assume it will disappear. Because it doesn’t “hurt.”

It’s just annoying. It’s just uncomfortable. It’s just THERE.

Until it isn’t. Until whatever the issue is won’t be denied, and that little nothing turns into something you’re forced to deal with. Something like the IT Band.

The Iliotibial Band is a strap of tissue that runs along the outside of your leg. It starts at the hip and extends to the outer side of the shinbone just below the knee.

Now, if you’ve ever had official IT band syndrome, or just general lateral leg pain, you know how finicky it is. Moreover, you know about all the treatments that go from simple to verging on voodoo — coaches like to get fancy. It makes them feel special.

Fancy, however, has nothing on consistency. As in doing the work often and always. How often are we talking? Sometimes a minute or two, ten times a day.
