Be Relentless In 2023
Be relentless in as many little things as possible, so you’ll already have put in the reps when the big things come up.
My 2023 mantra is relentless.
It’s a good word. A strong word. An inspiring, beefy, rolls-off-the-tongue tough word.
A word that reminds me of the person I want to be most. A person who does what he says he’s going to do. Not for accolades or applause, but because it’s the right thing to do.
Sure that means training, nutrition, and hydration. But it’s more than that. Much more! In fact, I can adhere to the big things because I pay attention to the little things.
For example, a lot of humans are about to dive into fitness for the New Year. They plan on working out six days a week instead of none. And while their intentions are pure and their goals are admirable, they’ll fail.
Why? Because they don’t sweat the small stuff. Because instead of being relentless in all the things, they only try to be relentless in the big…
