Be Extraordinary
Because drinking more water, getting up early, skipping dessert, and making your bed isn’t about any of those things.
Ordinary is a trap.
A state of mind and pattern of living we fall into one concession at a time.
It starts by comparing ourselves to the world and curating the data so we feel better about lackluster choices. Decisions that would be alright if they were rare. But that’s the problem. They’re not.
Skipping ONE workout is seldom just ONE. It’s two, then a week, then a month.
Or maybe it’s eating the “occasional” dessert, which is anything but occasional, then searching for your friends, family, and everyone doing the same thing. Because misery isn’t quite as miserable when it’s shared. It’s just ordinary.
And remember, ordinary is a trap.
The bad news is there’s no trick, and it takes work. I guess that’s the good news too.
