3 Reasons Exercise Snacks Should Be On Your Menu
The first two reasons are enough. The last one is profound and by far the most practical and effective.
Movement is medicine
That’s why we feel great when we take a walk, swim a few laps, lift weights, or just play with our dogs.
It’s also why the more we move, the more we want to move, and the very reason we should move as often as possible.
That’s where the concept of Exercises Snacks comes in.
The study is straightforward, and the application is simple; perform a high-intensity, twenty-second or so, burst of exercise every four hours, three times a day.
This does a few things:
1) Exercise Snacks increase your overall cardiorespiratory
wellness. But in truth, only modestly.
2) Exercise Snacks make you feel awesome. It’s like injecting caffeine straight into the veins.
